How long have you been in business?
Maid On The Spot Inc. started as Simms Cleaning Service in 2006. We incorporated in 2011 as Maid On The Spot Inc. We are proud to celebrate over 17 years in business.
How many maids do you have?
We currently have 40+ employees and continue to grow.
Are your maids insured, bonded & background checked?
Yes, all employees undergo criminal background checks and are fully insured and bonded.
Do your maids have workers’ compensation insurance?
Yes, workers’ compensation insurance is required by law for all employees.
Are your maids employees or subcontractors?
All maids are employees of Maid On The Spot Inc. They are thoroughly interviewed, trained, insured, bonded, background checked, and backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

No, we are a family-owned, local, independent cleaning company.

Our Services
Do you send one maid or a team?
Most cleanings are performed by individual maids or a team of two or three. If a team is sent, total billable labor hours stay the same. One maid for six labor hours equals six clock hours. Two maids for six labor hours equals three clock hours. We assign as many maids as needed to complete your job.
Do you provide the cleaning products?
Yes. Your cleaner brings professional equipment and supplies including a HEPA vacuum, glass cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, wood cleaner, polish, floor cleaner, disinfectant, degreaser, scrub tools, dusters, step stool, trash liners, microfiber rags, towels, buckets, and more.
Will you use my cleaning products instead of yours?
Yes. Just tell us what to use and where. Please include these instructions during online booking.
What do you clean?
We clean whatever needs it. Our maids follow SOPs, guiding principles, and checklists but are trained to use good judgment. We clean your home and almost everything in it. A detailed checklist is available on our website.
Why do you recommend a Deep Cleaning for all new customers?
Deep Cleaning removes buildup, spots, and scuffs and thoroughly cleans all surfaces. Once your home is fully clean, we can maintain it efficiently on a regular basis. Starting with a Standard Cleaning is usually not enough for first visits.
When do I need a Build-Up Cleaning?
Build-Up Cleaning is for homes not thoroughly cleaned in six months or longer. It allows extra time for heavy dust, grease, soap scum, pet hair, excessive belongings, and tougher conditions.
What don’t you clean?
We do not clean computer or TV screens, antiques, valuables, animal habitats, broken items, or fragile items. We do not use ladders, clean exterior windows requiring ladders, or perform steam carpet cleaning. We cannot clean homes with infestations, animal waste, excessive odors or garbage, or communicable diseases. Wall washing is done only upon request and at the client’s risk.
What if I want a service not listed in online booking?
No problem. Book an hourly cleaning and tell us what you need done.
Can you guarantee arrival times?
No, but we try. Arrival windows are Morning (8:00 am–12:00 pm) and Afternoon (12:00 pm–4:00 pm). You may select a preferred time within these windows during booking.
Can you guarantee the same cleaner every time?
We try our best. Each account has a primary cleaner and a backup. You may request a preferred cleaner by contacting the office.
I’ve booked my first cleaning. Now what?
Create your Secure Client Portal to manage your cleaning 24/7. Then complete the home survey so we understand your needs and policies.

What if something is damaged or broken?
If accidental damage occurs, Maid On The Spot Inc. will notify you immediately. Employees document the issue and report it to the office. We are not liable for items that were not secured properly, such as unstable décor, floating shelves, or loosely hung pictures.
What if I want a different maid?
If you are not comfortable with a particular maid for any reason, let us know and we will not assign that maid to your account.
What if I am not happy with my cleaning?
If something is not right, contact the office as soon as possible and we will return to re-clean. We stand behind our work and aim for 100% satisfaction. Refunds or discounts are not provided.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You can cancel or reschedule through your online client portal. Cancellations within 48 hours of service incur a $50 fee. There is no long-term contract and you may cancel anytime.
What if I love your services and want to use you again?
Choose recurring service when booking your first cleaning and receive a 20% discount on future cleanings.
